'I was frozen': Cosby accuser says she was drugged, groped

She met Cosby at Temple University in Philly where he was one of its most famous alumni and Constand was director of basketball operations.

According to CBS This Morning, Cosby's lawyers asked Constand why she stayed in contact with Cosby after he allegedly made inappropriate advances toward her twice before the assault, to which she said she trusted him, and didn't think he'd escalate things further. "In my head, I was trying to get my hands to move or my legs to move", she said. "I wasn't able to fight in any way".

Cosby, 79, is charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault, which carry up to 10 years each.

Cosby, for years feted by millions as "America's Dad" for his role as a lovable obstetrician and father on "The Cosby Show", says he is now legally blind. But within minutes she began to feel woozy, Johnson said, and later woke up on Cosby's bed to find her dress undone around her waist and Cosby forcing her to touch him.(AP Photo/Matt Slocum). He also emphasized that during the deposition Johnson said the incident at the Bel Air Hotel took place in 1990, although she has since said multiple times it happened in 1996, shortly before she was sacked. Constand told her Cosby returned from the dinner table in his home that night and opened his hand to show her three blue pills. The former college basketball manager says Cosby drugged and assaulted her in 2004.

More than 50 women have said that Cosby assaulted them, but the statute of limitations has run out in almost all cases.

The woman at the centre of Bill Cosby's criminal sex assault trial was left "humiliated" and "confused" after his alleged 2004 attack, a court has heard. Constand's case is the only one in which Cosby has been charged. "I could see two of him", and recalled that her "mouth was cottony".

Cosby appeared indifferent throughout much of Constand's testimony. Mr Miller testified that she told him the assault occurred in 1990.

"I felt embarrassed (at the time) because I had a secret about the biggest celebrity in the world at the time and it was just me, just my word against his, and I was very afraid", Johnson said Monday, explaining the delay. Constand then sued Cosby in civil court, ultimately settling for an undisclosed amount.

At the same time, she said, Cosby became more flirtatious and suggestive - grabbing her thigh during one encounter at his home and attempting to unbutton her trousers in another.

The Associated Press reports that Constand will return to the witness stand on Wednesday, the third day of the trial that could land Cosby in jail.

Cosby says he gave Constand Benadryl to relieve stress, insisting their sexual relations were consensual and accusing her of lying. "And I believed he supported numerous athletic programs", Constand said.

Mason also said that he was told by Constand that her previous interactions with the comedian were always brief and that she'd never been alone with him. Both times, Constand said, she made it clear she didn't welcome the behavior.

Cosby avoided looking directly at Constand while she was in court, though he appeared to be listening intently, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
