On Wednesday night in Tampa, Florida, the USA men's national team surrendered a 2-0 lead but came back to beat Martinique 3-2 to get its Gold Cup campaign back on track, with Jordan Morris coming through big. Panama could still take over the top spot in the group, depending on results Saturday.

A viewing party will be held at a Kearny Mesa pub for Wednesday's telecasts of the U.S. -Martinique CONCACAF Gold Cup soccer game. The U.S. has been to four Confederations Cups, most recently finishing second to Brazil in 2009.
US came out with plenty of energy in the second half and nearly made it 1-0 in the 48th minute.
Former goalkeeper, Tony Meola, from the 2002 U.S. World Cup team told News Channel 8, "The one thing we've seen around the league is the expansion cities where fans have been outstanding, and they've come out to support".
62nd minute, 1-0 USA: U.S. manager Bruce Arena is making his first sub.
The promise shown by the Kellyn Acosta-Dax McCarty-Joe Corona central midfield trio against Ghana all but evaporated under the hot Tennessee sun, while a backline boasting no shortage of experience was beaten repeatedly. However, the islanders' defense seemed to weaken towards the last 20 minutes of the game, allowing team U.S. to play the ball in space.
After a first half full of crap offense, crap defense took over in the second half and sparked the match to life.
And Martinique were level after 75 when Parsemain was credited with a goal after teammate Johan Audel's blast deflected off him on its way past United States keeper Brad Guzan.
If the United States only moved through as the second-place team in the group, it would play the victor of Group A. Costa Rica, a side that has given the Americans trouble in recent years, would most likely be that opponent, although Canada could usurp them depending on Friday night results.
The U.S. showing in the first half was inauspicious, bordering on atrocious at times. He was noticeably more comfortable on the ball than the other American defenders - and most of the midfielders for that matter - and was consistently in good defensive position. He has managed just two goals and no assists for the Sounders this season, looking a step slow at times and failing to finish chances as well as he did a year ago.
Soon after, though, Martinique (1-1-0) responded against a softening USA defense. Lichaj then found Morris right in front of the near post.
Eric Lichaj has struggled to become a regular with the national team.
However, Nicaragua's lead would only last two minutes as Diaz leveled the score - firing high into the net after some fancy footwork in the box and a fine layoff from Miguel Camargo. The young FC Dallas midfielder was at the heart of the US attack, but was replaced early in the second half with exhausted legs.
It wasn't easy for the USMNT against Martinique on Wednesday night at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium.
