Under cross-examination on Wednesday as part of a federal civil trial, former KYGO radio host David Mueller testified that the photo of him and Swift from 2013 appeared "weird" and "awkward".

Although Swift tried to keep the matter quiet, her radio programs manager took the matter to KYGO shortly after the incident occurred, and Mueller was sacked. After the allegations came to light, Mueller reportedly lost his job and then sued Swift on the claim that he was wrongfully accused.

Andrea said that she and Swift later "decided as a group" to let Mueller's employers know about the alleged incident.

The singer and her mother, Andrea Swift, were back in court after attending on Tuesday to watch potential jurors questioned about their familiarity with Swift or Mueller and whether they considered themselves to be fans of their work.

Swift, who was 23 at the time, filed a countersuit in which she accused him of "reaching under her dress and grabbing her bottom" as they posed for the photo.

Swift's team reminded the court, again, it was Mueller who filed a public civil lawsuit against Swift- turning the case into worldwide news.

Swift maintains she was sexually assaulted, but she was trying to keep the matter discreet and quiet.

"'Mom, a guy just grabbed my ass at the meet-and-greet'", she recounted her daughter telling her moments after the alleged incident.

How did Taylor Swift feel after the reported assault by David Mueller?

While in court on Wednesday, the 27-year-old entertainer's mom Andrea testified against Mueller in defense of her daughter.

The houseguests agree that if Jessica was a man poking women, she'd be in jail for sexual assault.

As the took the stand, Andrea was understandably emotional while speaking of her daughter's distress.

Baldridge's remarks had been made shortly after Mueller's attorney, Gabriel McFarland, made it clear neither he nor his client condoned any kind of inappropriate touching, declaring it's "offensive, it's wrong and should never be tolerated". But in his opening statement, Mueller's attorney refuted this, saying, "If you look at that photograph, his hand is not underneath Miss Swift's skirt, and her skirt is not rumpled in any fashion".

"If I had more time, to walk over to get into the photo, it certainly would have been possible", Mueller responded about possibly putting his hand elsewhere than below her waist.

Mueller also testified that one of his bosses, Hershel Coomer, had told Mueller "that he had his hands on her butt" when Coomer met Swift that day.

The mother tearfully acknowledged her daughter expressed bewilderment at having "thanked" Mueller and his girlfriend after posing with them despite believing she had just been groped.

She says she found out about it when she walked into her daughter's dressing room. "Our meet and greets are much smaller". But asked by his own lawyer whether he had grabbed Swift's backside, Mueller said flatly, "No, I did not". She is expected to take the witness stand later in the trial.

Why didn't Taylor Swift immediately go to police?
